Red Cross Assembly
The ladies from the American Red Cross came to talk with us today. They taught us a lot about what the Red Cross is all about. Tell about something you learned from the speakers. What did you learn that you didn't know about the Red Cross?
I learnd that if you need help the RED CROSS will help you and save you. I didn’t know that the Red Cross will replace every thing you had if your house burnt down.
what I learned of the redcross is that I could save three lives by letting the red cross get some blood but you have to be older than sixteen or be sixteen to do that.
I learned where the Red Cross symbol came from. I thought it was interesting that a man made a red cross in blood in order to alert people that they were helping people. I did not know that before our speakers came. That is the one thing I remembered most about our assembly!
I learn that this man halp a lot of people. when they were in a war .I seen a red cross on a life gaurd suit.I will see you next time and thenk you for for comeing.
This is my fifth year teaching, and my fourth here at Bolton. I have always taught 3rd grade and I love it. I am originally from Ohio and I moved to North Carolina just to teach. I have a dog named Jersey that I spend a lot of time with. I love hanging out with family and friends.
We will:Only us our FIRST name when writing. Only use SENSIBLE and KIND words. Not include any of our DETAILS - this includes phone number, address, personal email address. Be careful when putting PHOTOS on (we have permission slips signed by parents)Ask PERMISSION when putting other people's photos - tell them what you are going to do with the photos. Only display nice photos of other people (we don't want to embarrass people)Try our hardest to spell our words correctly. Be RESPONSIBLE when using and writing on our blog.
I learned about that they take blood from your arm.
